Os B-52H da USAF atingem meio século
USAF Boeing B-52H feet reaches ffty years of service

anos desde que a empresa
entregou seu último B-52
Stratofortress para a força aé-
rea dos Estados Unidos. Um
bombardeiro de modelo “H”,
aeronaves s/n 61-0040, que
foi atribuído à base da força
aérea de Minot, Dakota do
Norte, onde permanece no
serviço ativo hoje. O último
B-52H foi entregue ào 4136th
B oeing marked in Octo-
ber 2012, 50 years since
the company delivered its f-
nal and ultimate B-52 Strato-
fortress to the U.S. Air Force.
An H-model bomber, aircraft
s/n 61-0040 was assigned to
Minot Air Force Base, North
Dakota, where it remains in
active service today. The last
B-52H was delivered to the
4136th Strategic Wing at Mi-
not AFB on 26 October 1962,
 O B-52H-175-BW s/n 61-0040 visto em 2012 em Minot AFB, Dakota
do Norte. Todos os 102 modelos encomendados foram construídos em
Wichita, Kansas, em 1961 e 1962. O B-52H já ultrapassou a longevidade
do anterior B-52G, retirado de serviço após a primeira guerra do Golfo.

All the 102 H-models contracted were built in Wichita, Kansas in 1961
and 1962. As of now, the B-52Hs have outlived the earlier B-52Gs which
