The original Falcon 2000 was the frst business jet in the
world to be designed using a fully digital mockup, with the
Dassault design team responding to Falcon operator needs
of the time which helped defne the aircraft’s initial perfor­
mance, the ideal range (which was a perfect ft for the U.S.
“coast-to-coast” market), and operating costs. Since the origi­
nal design, there have been six versions of the Falcon 2000,
including the 2000LXS introduced last October 2012.

mundo a ser projetado através de um mockup totalmente
digital, com os designers da Dassault respondendo às neces­
sidades dos operadores do Falcon daquela época que ajuda­
ram a defnir qual seria o desempenho inicial da aeronave, o
alcance ideal (que poderia atender a demanda "costa-a-cos­

Dassault Aviation is one of these
rare aircraft manufacturers where
